Lyddington Bede House

The only surviving part of a medieval palace belonging to the Bishops of Lincoln, converted to almshouses in 1600 with an elaborate 16thC timber ceiling cornice on the first floor. See bedesmen's rooms with tiny windows and fireplaces.
